What is an NFC chip?
An NFC chip (Near Field Communication) is a tiny integrated circuit that allows for fast and secure data transfer over very short distances (usually less than 4 centimeters).

The most incredible feature of NFC chips (like those found in keychains, stickers, or credit cards) is that they are passive chips.
- They don't need a battery and never have to be recharged.
- How do they activate? They leverage the principle of electromagnetic induction. When you bring your smartphone close to the chip (the famous "tap"), the phone generates a tiny magnetic field. The NFC chip captures this energy, instantly "wakes up," transmits the requested data, and deactivates as soon as you move it away.
